Hyper Island will open the doors to its new space in DN-skrapan, Stockholm, in August 2026, in a project developed together with MOD and Areim. As the company approaches 30 years as a pioneer in transformative learning, the move marks more than a change of address. It marks the beginning of a new chapter.

The new space is being created to support experiential learning, collaboration and client delivery, while aligning the physical environment more closely with Hyper Island’s future direction across both its YH school and its executive learning and business transformation offer.

“This move marks a new chapter for Hyper Island. Our new space will create a stronger setting for learning, collaboration and future growth. As we approach 30 years as pioneers in transformative learning, this is the right moment to invest in the environment for what comes next.”
- Heidi Rundt, CEO of Hyper Island.

Together with MOD, responsible for concept and place development, the new space is designed to be more than a functional workplace. It is being shaped as a strategic environment for learning, relationships and growth, based on the belief that an office is not only about square metres or efficiency, but also about how people feel, how they collaborate, and grow.

“We want to create an inspiring learning space that reflects Hyper Island’s progressive approach to learning. A campus and office designed to encourage creativity, collaboration and new thinking, and to bring people together in person to test ideas and turn them into action. With Hyper Island, we are working from a broader perspective, where the space becomes a strategic tool for culture, business and development.”

- Emil Åkerblom, CEO at MOD Concept.”

For Hyper Island, this approach is a natural fit. Since 1996, the organisation has helped people and organisations stay relevant through transformative learning built on experience, reflection and collaboration. The new space extends that belief into a physical environment designed to support meaningful work, human connection and continued transformation, while helping people and organisations build the capabilities that hold when the world shifts.

Areim, as property owner, is also a key partner in the project and welcomes Hyper Island to the building.

“We are delighted that Hyper Island has chosen Trängkåren 7 and Tidningskvarteren as the new base for its operations. Tidningskvarteren has long been a place for ideas, communication and the exchange of knowledge, and Hyper Island’s activities are a strong addition to what we are building here.”

- Christian Bouvier, Head of Asset Management Office, Sweden, at Areim.

As Hyper Island enters its fourth decade, the new space will help shape what comes next: a place designed to support learning, collaboration and transformation in practice.
