For those applying from Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and the Faroe Islands, you should contact your local education support provider.
Successful applicants must have at least a high school diploma (“Gymnasieexamen”) or foreign equivalent. Applicants must also have successfully completed Math 2 and have prior basic experience with Excel. 2 years of relevant working experience is also required for this course.

Upskill Application Task: Make a video related to the Application Task brief

Proof of language knowledge: Anyone whose native language is not Swedish, Danish, Faroese, Icelandic, or Norwegian must have the necessary knowledge of Swedish. You will be asked to upload proof that you meet the language requirements, read more on the general entry requirements.

What if I do not fulfil the standard entry requirements?
You are welcome to apply even if you don't fulfil our standard entry requirements, you can still be admitted through our Dispensary seat rule.
Select one of the modules from the course syllabus and design the ultimate workshop with this in mind.
In a 2 minute video, creative presentation, or voice recording, share the following:
The name of your workshop: Give your workshop a clear and engaging title.
The big idea or challenge it addresses: What is the key concept, problem, or question your workshop focuses on? Why is it important?
The proposed solution: Describe how your workshop tackles this challenge. What activities, tools, or strategies will you use to engage participants and help them explore or solve the issue?
Tips for your Task: Be authentic and showcase your personality! Use anything you wish, whether that be props, sound effects or storytelling whatever feels natural to you and keep it concise.

Please note that if you are applying to more than one Upskill course, you can apply with the same application task and just make a note of this.
Evaluation of your application task:
Basics | 2 points: Submitting a task in English.
Communication | 2 points: Communicating the idea in a clear way & showed abilities to ‘catch the viewer’.
Presentation | 2 points: Interesting presentation with a clear ending.
Reflection | 2 points: Providing in depth reflection and clearly demonstrating learning and personal growth.
Outlook | 2 points: Being able to reflect on the learnings and envisioning the future.
You can expect to hear the admissions results about a month before the Upskill course start date.
If you don't qualify for a Swedish Government-funded seat, you are welcome to apply as a fee-paying student. There is no need to submit any proof of proficiency in Nordic languages.
