Resilient Governance and Advanced Innovation in Ukraine
The REGAIN project, led by Hyper Island in collaboration with the East Europe Foundation, is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency of Ukraine’s public sector. This initiative focuses on strengthening democratic institutions and improving public administration through tailored training programs in leadership and digital governance.
Empowering Ukraine's Public Sector
The project addresses critical challenges in skills development essential for promoting transparency, resilience, and robust governmental operations. It aims to support Ukraine’s ongoing reform efforts and alignment with EU standards by equipping public sector employees with the tools and strategies necessary to drive impactful change.
Key components of the project
- Needs Analysis: Conducting a detailed assessment to identify specific skills gaps among Ukrainian public employees.
- Training Curriculum Development: Creating a customized curriculum that incorporates leadership, decision-making, and digital governance practices.
- On-Site Training in Sweden: Organizing a four-day intensive training session for five Ukrainian public employees, designed to provide practical tools and actionable insights for immediate application within their organizations.
Funding
The project is funded by the Swedish Institute (SI) under the Ukraine Cooperation Programme, with a total budget of 200,000 SEK.
By combining Hyper Island’s expertise in transformative education and the East Europe Foundation’s local knowledge and digital skills capabilities, the REGAIN project contributes to building a resilient and modern governance system in Ukraine.
