EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative
Hyper Island is proud to be a pledger of the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, a pioneering European effort to train 1 million innovators and experts in deep tech fields by 2025. This ambitious program is part of the European Commission’s New European Innovation Agenda and addresses the critical need for a highly skilled workforce in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and extended reality (XR).
What is the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative?
The EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative, coordinated by EIT Manufacturing and supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), aims to bridge Europe’s deep tech skills gap. By creating a diverse and innovative talent pool, this initiative will enable Europe to tackle pressing societal and technological challenges, including digital transformation, sustainability, and the green transition.
As part of this initiative, Hyper Island has signed the pledge to contribute its expertise, resources, and training programs to develop the next generation of deep tech professionals. The pledge gathers public and private organizations, academic institutions, and industry leaders across Europe to collectively achieve the goal of training 1 million talents.
Hyper Island’s Role and Pledge
As an Education and Training Provider, Hyper Island is committed to:
- Developing and delivering impactful deep tech training programs that align with industry needs and focus on real-world applications.
- Mobilizing resources to support the initiative’s goal of training 1 million individuals in deep tech by the end of 2025.
- Promoting diversity and inclusion through gender-balanced and accessible learning opportunities.
- Enhancing course content and methodologies to stay ahead of technological advancements and industry demands.
