Simon has been part of Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies since 2016 and has led and participated in many advisory projects exploring long-term strategic implications through scenario planning, trend analysis, and strategic foresight broadly. He has worked with high-level national and international clients and stakeholders across business and society, helping organizations challenge outdated beliefs and misguided assumptions about the future, to enhance preparedness and strategic decision-making. On a day-to-day basis, Simon works intensively with exploring how shifts in technology, demographics and people’s behavior raise critical uncertainties for societies and businesses across the board. Simon brings his experience with working with strategic foresight and futures-oriented issues to our Applied Strategic Foresight course.

Our online courses consist of weekly live sessions and some independent work in between to help reinforce your learning and connect with instructors and peers.
Plan for 3–5 hours per week, including one live session, readings, and hands-on exercises. You’ll find the exact schedule in the course syllabus.
We use Google Meet for our live sessions and provide all course materials via email or a shared learning space.
Yes! You'll receive a certificate within 1-2 weeks of completion if you participate in the live sessions and complete all required coursework.
