“Sitting still, listening, passing an exam, and then forgetting it all the next day — it didn’t work for me,” she says.

“It looked like something exciting I wanted to be a part of immediately,” she recalls. ”

“I’d recommend gaining some work experience beforehand — it definitely helped me. Jumping straight from a purely academic setting can be tough at first.”
She also highlights that Hyper Island doesn’t spoon-feed knowledge — it’ll ask you to search for it yourself. That expectation can be empowering, but it requires internal motivation and a willingness to explore. And looking back on her journey?
“I didn’t think I could do it; then Hyper made me do it — and when it didn’t go as expected, I learned even more.”
