Meet Your Facilitators

Rebecca Taylor - MA
Rebecca Taylor (PhD)

With 20 years’ experience in design and business education, Rebecca leads programmes, projects, and partnerships across learning and experience design, creative communications, and experiential marketing. Collaborating with Teesside University and Hyper Island’s programmes team, she supports evolving, practice-based Masters that develop critical, workplace-ready thinkers. Her research draws from participatory and experience design, digital social innovation, systems thinking, and more-than-human-centered design. Committed to reflective, socially engaged practice, she believes curiosity shapes how we learn, lead, and create impact.

Johan Eriksson - Course Facilitator
Johan Eriksson

Johan is a senior learning designer and facilitator with over 10 years’ experience leading complex projects and programmes. He is skilled at working with both corporates and students, using his experience in creative production and coaching to help people and companies to transform. He is leading and developing short masterclasses and long programs and has led tailored programmes for Atlassian, H&M and Accenture.Before Hyper Island, he was running an accelerator program for startups in Rwanda and conducting international leadership programs for young leaders across Europe.
