Course Content
This module will introduce you to the foundational principles of behavioral psychology and economics, focusing on how human behavior is influenced by biases, heuristics, and mental shortcuts.
In this module, we will equip you with actionable frameworks for understanding and driving behavioral change. Using experiential activities and real-world applications, you will map behaviors, identify barriers and enablers, and design interventions that lead to sustainable change
Discover common cognitive biases that drive behaviour and decision-making in both you, as well as your customers and colleagues. You’ll then learn how to integrate this neuroscience knowledge to prototype more effective behavioural change interventions through nudging tecnhiques.
In this module we will explore how AI-driven tools are transforming the ability to predict, analyze, and influence human behavior at scale. Ethical implications, personalization strategies, and cutting-edge applications will be examined, providing you with practical insights and tools to integrate AI into behavioral design while maintaining ethical integrity.

Tim works globally as an entrepreneur, consultant, researcher, and lecturer. With a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Sheffield (UK), and as Business Leader and Head of Content at Hyper Island, he has led various global innovation and transformation programs for clients such as Itau, Kimberly-Clark, Beiersdorf, Unilever, and Amex, among many others. Tim is also an international speaker and learning designer in fields such as Behavioural Economics, Artificial Intelligence, Thought Networks, UX, and Design Thinking. He regularly speaks at global events on topics like youth culture, digital and social media, and consumer behavior. Additionally, he writes and presents insights about the Brazilian consumer market for both local and international audiences. He is currently a Professor at FAAP in São Paulo, teaching in the postgraduate program on consumer behavior and digital media.
Tim Lucas (PhD)

Carolina holds a degree in Product Design from UFRGS, a master's in Behavioural Design also from UFRGS, and a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from PUCRS. She works as a consultant in the fields of product, graphic, service, and UX design, consumer behavior research, trend forecasting, branding, and strategic planning. She is currently the Design & Research Manager at Nubank.

Sabryna is an industrial engineer graduated from EC Lyon, one of the most prestigious schools in France, Sabryna has 18 years of experience in FMCG companies like Nestlé and Beiersdorf. She has lived and worked in France, Germany, Brazil, and Chile. In the last years, Sabryna has designed and facilitated learning journeys around leadership, innovation, or customer experience for companies like Bayer, BASF, American Express, IBM, Kraft Heinz, Avon, etc.

Iñaki is a behavioral psychologist turned educator. He worked for 18 years in advertising, and has helped many brands develop a more creative approach to their communications. He takes his audience and learners through insightful (and challenging) new perspectives on how today’s brand landscape has changed, exploring the behaviors, expectations and values of customers. Before settling in Austin, Texas, Iñaki and his family were digital nomads for 3 years exploring the future of work, education and living. He is also a writer and curator supporting both alumni and leading organizations around the world.
